About Ian
Many people believe that they just aren't cut out for certain subjects, I believe that's simply untrue. I believe anyone can learn any subject if taught right. If you understand WHY something works, you can more easily apply it to a multitude of different situations. I find that taking notes works wonders for memory and understanding, I can help you learn to take notes if you struggle with that. I've had some pretty bad teachers in the past and I totally understand the struggle of feeling lost or behind. The reason I tutor is to make sure that no one has to go through school stressing about knowing the subject material. I got an A in high school physics, geometry, algebra 1&2, pre-calc, and calculus, and A's in my college level physics and calculus 1 classes.

I'll use practice problems to reinforce your understanding, and practical definitions to make things easier to understand. These lessons are for middle school math to calc 1 and physics 1. (I also know non-calculus based electromagnetism)
