About Vivienne
I am a professional violin tutor with 14 years of teaching experience working with school students, college students, and working professionals. Throughout my career, I have enjoyed helping students explore music and achieve their personal goals.
My teaching philosophy focuses on encouragement, communication, and individualised instruction. I believe that students perform best when they feel supported and understood. Therefore, I create lessons that are adapted to each student's abilities and aspirations.
Over the years, I have successfully guided many students in improving their technical skills and musical understanding. One of my greatest achievements has been seeing students gain confidence and enjoy sharing their music with others.

In violin lessons, I focus on building strong fundamentals such as posture, bow control, finger placement, rhythm, intonation, and music reading. I teach step by step and use simple explanations to help students understand concepts clearly. I encourage consistent practice and provide constructive feedback to support steady improvement.
Besides violin, I also teach related subjects such as music theory, ear training, sight reading, and rhythm development. These subjects help students strengthen their musical foundation and become more confident performers.
My goal is to help students enjoy learning while developing confidence, discipline, and a lifelong passion for music.
