Primary school teacher of 5 years and a dedicated tutor with 3 years experience. I’m kind, friendly, encouraging and full of positive energy—my goal is always to make learning feel fun, not frustrating. Having had tutors myself throughout school, I understand first-hand how it feels to have someone new explain concepts that may already feel challenging. I am an experienced English tutor, specialising in phonics, reading, writing, spelling, and grammar. I focus on teaching essential skills that help children build a strong foundation in the English language.
Lessons range from 40 minutes to 1 hour, depending on each child's individual needs and abilities. I have experience working with children who have additional educational needs and always adapt my teaching approach to suit their unique learning styles.
In our first lesson, I take the time to get to know each child and understand how they learn best. From there, I create fully tailored learning materials designed to support their development and help them make real progress.
With over three years of tutoring experience, I am passionate about helping children aged 5 to 15 gain confidence and achieve success in English.
