The class will involve a thorough understanding of energy simulation basics as the first class. With the popularity of green buildings, architects should equip to understand the design validation through the use of software tools such as Equest and conduct energy simulation.
The basics of the energy simulation, concepts, input requirements and what kind of output can be expected will be taught using powerpoint presentations.
.Once the concepts are clear, a hands on teaching on the simulation software to run your first simulation will be taught. The data input and the results interpretation and how to use the same for design validation will be taught.
