My approach to tutoring EMT and Paramedic students is structured, clinically rigorous, and application-focused. I do not teach students to memorize answers — I teach them to think like clinicians. Concept Clarification First – We start by ensuring you truly understand the underlying pathophysiology, not just surface-level facts.
Clinical Pattern Recognition – I teach you how to identify patterns in assessment findings so you can anticipate the correct intervention.
Scenario-Based Application – We apply knowledge to progressively complex patient scenarios to strengthen critical thinking.
Exam Strategy Integration – For NREMT preparation, I teach you how the test thinks: distractor analysis, prioritization logic, and question dissection techniques.
High-Yield Reinforcement – I provide structured summaries, decision trees, and mental frameworks you can use on exams and in the field.
A standard session may include:
1. Quick assessment of your current understanding
2. Targeted teaching on a focused topic (e.g., shock states, airway management, cardiology, pharmacology)
3. Guided walk-through of 3–5 clinical scenarios
