About Jonathan

As a student teacher, I am trained in the newest strategies and ways to support each student. Each student will be treated equally. Furthermore, every student should feel increasing confidence and growth after each lesson.

I plan to have each student connect with their reading and writing. I believe that learning should not be boring, and English is no different.

As a tutor, my goal is to support my students in what they need and help them take ownership of their own learning. Students should walk out of each lesson feeling more confident. I will ask each student reflection questions about their work. Each lesson will be taught with lesson objectives in mind. Each lesson will be personalized to fit the student's needs.

I am a student teacher in my senior year pursuing a Middle Grades (4th-8th) Social Studies and Language Arts degree. As a middle school teacher, I know what teachers expect.
