About Amelia
My interest in economics developed when I started learning about how markets function and how economic decisions affect societies and businesses. I became particularly interested in understanding how government policies influence economic stability and development. This curiosity encouraged me to pursue higher education and complete a Master’s degree in Economics.
Over the past 7 years, I have taught economics to students from different academic backgrounds and helped them develop a clearer understanding of economic theory and real-world applications. Many learners initially find economics challenging because it includes graphs, models, and analytical reasoning. To help students succeed, I focus on explaining concepts step by step and connecting them with practical examples.
Outside teaching, I enjoy following global economic trends and reading about financial policies and international trade developments. Staying informed about economic issues allows me to introduce relevant examples into my lessons. Helping students understand how economic principles shape the modern world is one of the most rewarding parts of my teaching experience.

Economics is the study of how individuals, businesses, and governments make decisions about the use of limited resources. My lessons focus on helping students understand essential economic principles such as supply and demand, market structures, consumer behavior, economic growth, inflation, and government policy. Instead of memorizing theoretical definitions alone, students learn how these ideas influence real-world situations such as price changes, business competition, and global trade.
During lessons, students analyze economic concepts through explanations, graphs, and practical examples that clarify complex ideas. Beginners start by learning fundamental topics such as scarcity, opportunity cost, and basic market interactions. Intermediate learners explore elasticity, production decisions, and different types of market competition. Advanced students study macroeconomic concepts such as national income, unemployment, fiscal policy, and international trade. Practice questions and analytical discussions help students strengthen their critical thinking and economic reasoning skills.
As students progress in economics, they begin to understand how economic forces influence everyday life and global financial systems. This understanding helps learners interpret economic news and make informed financial decisions. My goal is to help students build strong analytical abilities and confidence while studying economics.
