Economics UG teaching Maths at GCSE and A-Level; Online or in-person lessons; Achieved grade 9 at GCSE and A* at A-Level [Edexcel for both]

I contacted Teresa for A-Level Economics help (specifically Edexcel) about 3 weeks before my A-Level exams. My timing was my main problem when it came to tests, which fortunately is her speciality. I was taking on average 15 minutes extra per paper and was getting C/B. I would send her my work, which she would mark on her own time and review in incredible detail. Then, on the call, she would go through it with me line by line, telling me which sentences would earn me marks and which would not. She gave each paragraph a quality level (based on the Edexcel specification), and taught me theory that I was poor at and helped me with exam technique specific to each different paper. Every call was not wasted at all, and she would even take up to an hour after, for multiple sessions, just to explain concepts to me and help me practice. She responded and helped me on Sundays, while she was sick, and even on her holidays. I went from a C/B to achieving an A*. I have never written a review for a tutor, but honestly, her help was so incredible that it would be wrong for it to go unnoticed. She is a hard worker and a great teacher. I highly recommend her services.

Teresa is a kind and friendly tutor who is able to successfully and clearly explain economic concepts to students, providing real-life examples. She is clear and concise and a pleasure to be taught by. Teresa is always prepared to help and ensures that all uncertainties are cleared up. Overall, Teresa makes her students feel comfortable with both their economic knowledge and new concepts she explains.
