About Jhanvi
My passion for Economics grew from an early fascination with how everyday choices shape larger systems. This curiosity led me to pursue a B.A in Applied Economics, where I gained a deep appreciation for the way theory, behavior, and real-world events connect. Over the past 9 years, I’ve guided students from many backgrounds, helping them approach economic concepts with clarity and confidence. I believe every learner benefits from patient explanations, an encouraging environment, and a structured approach that transforms complex theories into understandable ideas. I describe my teaching style as calm, supportive, and focused on building long-term understanding. I know many students initially feel uncertain about graphs, models, or evaluation questions, so I introduce each idea step-by-step with carefully chosen examples. I encourage thoughtful questions and guide students through their challenges gently, helping them build strong reasoning habits. I am committed to creating a space where students feel comfortable exploring ideas, recognizing progress, and developing their own analytical voice. Outside teaching, I stay connected to Economics by reading current research, following global trends, and studying developments in behavioral economics, public policy, and international markets. I enjoy bringing these insights into lessons to make the subject more meaningful. Teaching continues to inspire me because it allows me to witness a student’s transformation—from feeling unsure to becoming confident, independent, and capable.
