About Scipio
I am a passionate young teacher who has worked as a teaching assistant in a primary school and in a secondary school as a volunteer. I believe maths is the most important subject that is taught in school, even that it should be compulsory at A-level. Also, it can at times seem like a daunting or difficult subject, but this perception can be changed with repeated exposure to the subject! So, this is why I chose to tutor maths. This, and the fact that I feel qualified in both temperament and subject knowledge.

Problem-solving is the priority. Maths is so much easier when you understand the subject intuitively as opposed to memorising all the equations. Therefore, my focus is on the 'challenge' sections of the textbooks; this is to prepare students for the unexpected and to develop a 'think on your feet' approach to tough exam questions. Overall, my job is to help you succeed in the exam! Hence, everything will be tailored to making you best prepared for the final day!
