About Dejaun
Hi! I am currently a consumer analyst, and had graduated in 2020 with an Economics and Politics degree. I am highly proficient in English with high literacy skills, from numerous essays to economic reports. I had also obtained an A* in both English language and literature at GCSE level. Conversely, throughout my university studies i tutored year 11 pupils in GCSE mathematics calculator and Non-Calculator, including my younger sibling. I always make sure its informative and enjoyable.

As I have limited experience i will begin teaching at a Key stage 2 level and a penultimate level at Key stage 3. I have more than the acquired knowledge within the English field and able to cater to any pupil no matter their skill level; improvements and enjoyment with my lessons will lead to stronger engagement with the pupils, and their eagerness to learn more. I believe the most effective strategy for learning and till present day is the most consistent, is formative and summative assessment, to provide a gage at their current level. Thus, after i will incorporate quizzes, virtual learning and real life examples of questions. I also believe in Metacognition, meaning I ask them 'why' they reach a particular answer as it has them thinking about their own thought processes for deriving that solution.
