About Taliah
I’m currently an English Student but have loved studying Geography, History, Spanish, Sociology, Art, Politics and so on. This variety of study and passion means tutoring in a singular subject is always informed and interesting.
I do lots of public speaking and debating, as well as dance, cheerleading, playing (and watching) lots of football. Maybe we will have some hobbies in common!
I love tutoring because the right kind of thorough education is so important to both character development and academic success. I also love engaging with young people and ensuring they can fulfill their potential.

Tutoring is all about communication and doing what works for a student. If you learn more from discussions, visuals, condensed notes, then that is what we will do. Lessons last between 40 minutes to 1 hour, starting with a ‘warm up’ excercise whether that be a discussion or written work before working on a specific area.
For school set curriculums or GCSEs and A levels, progress between lessons will be tailored around these specifications with particular exam focus if necessary.
For general writing skills and personal statements, sessions will involve a number of comprehensive reading and writing activities trying to build self awareness and confidence in writing.
