About Anna Neha
I am Anna Neha Thomas, a dedicated and passionate classical dancer specializing in Kuchipudi and Bharatanatyam. I have been learning, performing, and teaching these art forms for over 14 years, which has given me a deep understanding of both technique and expression. I hold a diploma in Bharatanatyam and a certification in Kuchipudi with distinction, reflecting my strong academic and practical foundation in classical dance.
I am a Doordarshan B-grade artist, which recognizes my proficiency and commitment to the art form. Over the years, I have had the privilege of performing on prestigious platforms, including international stages in the United States and Japan, representing Indian classical dance. I have also been a state-level winner multiple times and have received awards such as the Nataraja Puraskaram and recognition from cultural organizations and government bodies.
Along with my artistic journey, I have also been actively involved in disciplined training through NCC, where I was promoted to Senior Under Officer and received the Defense Secretary’s commendation. These experiences have helped me develop dedication, patience, and a strong sense of responsibility, which I bring into my teaching as well.
As a teacher, I aim to create a supportive, respectful, and inspiring learning environment where students not only learn dance but also develop confidence, discipline, and a deeper connection to Indian culture. I believe in guiding each student personally and helping them grow at their own pace while maintaining the authenticity of the traditional art form.

I am Anna Neha, a passionate Kuchipudi and Bharatanatyam dancer with over 14 years of experience in learning, performing, and teaching classical dance. As a Doordarshan B-grade artist with national and international performance experience, I am deeply committed to preserving and sharing the richness of traditional Indian dance forms.
I offer structured training in the traditional Kuchipudi dance form, starting from basic adavus and progressing gradually to jathis and complete traditional items. My classes include both practical and theory sessions so that students understand not only the movements but also the meaning, history, and expressions behind them.
I focus on slow-paced, step-by-step learning without any hurry, ensuring strong fundamentals. My sessions are interactive and supportive, helping students feel comfortable, confident, and motivated to grow. My classes are suitable for beginners as well as serious learners who wish to build a strong classical foundation and develop both technique and expression.
