As an experienced Religious Studies tutor with an A and B with 1 year of experience specialising in the WJEC GCSE specification, I provide targeted support for Year 10 and 11 (KS4) students aiming for top grades. My teaching methodology moves beyond rote memorisation, focusing instead on Active Recall and Exam Mastery; I teach students how to use the "5-Mark Formula" and build "Source of Wisdom" banks to tackle even the toughest 15-mark evaluative questions with confidence. Each 60-minute lesson is structured to maximise progress, beginning with a high-intensity knowledge retrieval quiz, followed by a deep dive into core Unit 1 or 2 content, and finishing with timed practice using real WJEC mark schemes. Whether you are in Year 10 just starting the course or a Year 11 student in the final push for exams, my approach is designed to bridge the gap between understanding the faith and mastering the marking criteria.
