I hold a doctorate degree in Musicology from the University of Birmingham and continue to pursue independent research in the field. With over three years of experience teaching both language and music in-person and online, I have developed strong pedagogical and communication skills. Although I am a trained cellist, my primary focus lies in academic research, exploring diverse areas of musicology and its cultural, theoretical, and historical dimensions. I am flexible to do lessons either in-person or online. The first lesson is always free. We will plan lessons tailored for your needs, whether you are doing GCSE, A-level, or preparing for the university level music theory or history – let’s plan our lessons together based on your needs. Each lesson is 60 minutes. I will be giving an assignment for you to do prior to the next lesson whether from the workbook or my own assignment.

Details
My standard fee is £50 for a 60-minute session, which includes tailored instruction based on the student’s level and goals. This rate applies to both in-person and online lessons. For in-person lessons, travel within a 10-km (or 6 miles) radius (from where I live, West London) is included at no extra cost. If the lesson location requires travelling beyond 10km, an additional £20 travel fee will be applied. This ensures that time, transport costs, and logistics are fairly covered, while still keeping the lessons accessible.
