About Jorge
I am a Diplomate of the National University of the Arts with specialization in guitar where I study with the teacher Javier Bravo. I dedicate myself to being soloist and with chamber ensembles as well as giving guitar lessons. Soloist I have had mentions like the Third Prize in the guitar contest of Atantida (Uruguay) 2018, the second prize in the DAMUS - DIMA guitar contest, finalist in the Santa María de Buenos Aires contest, among others. I am a member of the bordona duo with the guitarist Julian Socolovsky, with whom we have been winners of the first prize in the II Concert of music of Camara de la UNA and the Contest for guitar ensembles of Atlantida Uruguay. We have recorded albums dedicated to Latin American music, premiered works by Argentine and Brazilian composers. I have performed several concerts in venues in Argentina, Uruguay and Brazil. I have played solo with the Amadeus orchestra, the Vivaldi concert under the tutelage of maestro Alfredo Corral. I play both academic and popular music (Creole and electric guitar) I am a Martial Arts practitioner, so I complement the technical musical knowledge with concepts of Chi Kung.

My approach as a teacher is to accompany and deepen the search for musical expression with the guitar that each student has, whether popular or academic, aiming to have an integral knowledge of the instrument, its expressive abilities, techniques and mastery of all styles that Alumo is interested in learning. And the analytical understanding of what one plays (musical language, harmony, counterpoint, morphology) Generate a body awareness and an ergonomic posture with the instrument, to have the greatest enjoyment when playing; This search is complemented with basic concepts of Tai Chi and Chi Kung (in terms of the handling of energy when playing). I use different methods (Susuki, berklee, yamaha, parkening, etc) depending on the needs and conditions of each student.

Perfect! Jorge es una persona que se adapta a los intereses del alumno de forma flexible, dandole las herramientas necesarias para la consecución de sus objetivos. Se generan planes a corto y largo plazo. También como ser humano las clases se hacen muy amenas ya que se reserva unos minutos en los que el alumno puede expresar sus inquietudes.

Muy buen profesor, confiable y paciente. Plantea la clase teniendo en cuenta al alumno con el fin de que el conocimiento sea asimilado de la mejor manera, y son completas ya que ve también cuestiones posturales para evitar malos hábitos y contracturas futuras. En las clases además transmite su amor por la música, motivando a seguir estudiando.
Conocí a Jorge estudiando en la Universidad Nacional de las Artes, es un gran músico, muy paciente y amoroso para dar sus clases. De altísimo nivel, recomendadísimo.
Hola! Jorge, mas allá de ser un buen artista, es una buena persona. Humana, y que siempre trata de alguna forma decirte con amabilidad lo que piensa ante la situación que se está padeciendo. Sabe del tema de guitarra porque para ello estudio, sigue perfeccionándose pero como dije, sabe...
Es un excelente superprof, nos conocimos por la página y estuve tomando clases preparándome a ingresar al conservatorio. Un groso, lo recomiendo mucho, ya que tiene mucha paciencia y una forma clara y profunda de explicar.
