About Danial
I am an IB Diploma Mathematics and Computer Science teacher with around ten years of experience in international schools. I hold a degree in Mathematics and Computer Science and am trained in IBDP Mathematics (Category 2 and 3). In addition, I work as an IB Examiner and Assistant Head Examiner, which keeps me closely aligned with the latest assessment criteria and marking standards. I have taught students from early secondary (around age 13) up to pre-university level in MYP, IGCSE, and IBDP (Analysis & Approaches SL/HL). My tutoring experience includes one-to-one online lessons, small-group revision classes, exam preparation, and intensive support with Internal Assessments. In my sessions I focus on building strong conceptual understanding first, then connecting it to exam-style questions, calculator/Desmos skills, and clear step-by-step methods so students know not only what to do, but why it works. Over the years I have helped many students move from 4–5 range grades to consistent 6s and 7s by diagnosing gaps, breaking problems into manageable steps, and giving targeted feedback. I am patient but demanding, and I aim to create a supportive environment where students feel safe to make mistakes, ask questions, and gradually become confident, independent learners.
