Paul is an excellent and knowledgeable teacher who knows how to meet the needs of every student. I've been very lucky to learn economics from him in the past in my high school years and appreciate how he applies economic principles to real world examples. I went on to continue studying economics at university and owe a great deal of my decision to his fantastic teaching!

Paul has a very positive attitude towards teaching and is very knowledgeable. I had the pleasure of having him as my economics teacher, and I must say, I learnt more from his classes than any textbook I've ever read. His classes are very engaging and he always welcomes everyone with a great smile. One thing all effective teachers have is the ability to get into the depth of a concept without the student losing his focus, and Paul is able to do the effortlessly. It's truly a joy to be taught by Paul!

Paul taught me Economics for my IGCSE and IB. Because of his excellent teaching, myself and many of his students have finished our course with flying colours. I always looked forward to Paul’s classes, he would always make each topic we studied super interesting. His explanations of economics concepts were always extremely clear, and he would relate each concept we studied to real-world events, keeping the class relevant and exciting. His emphasis on the real-world implications of the subject was extremely helpful, as it would help contextualise some of the harder-to-grasp concepts. It also ensured that whatever we learnt we would understand it not just in theory but in practice, and how it would affect real populations, businesses, and governments around the world. Paul has a deep understanding of economics and is a great teacher who never fails to inspire his students.

It’s never a boring time with Paul !! His ability to connect with his students as well as teaching all sorts of concepts with such ease is definitely admirable. I was so grateful to have Paul’s help and advice throughout the IB (especially during covid).

Paul cared a lot about his students’ results and was always available to provide extra help if necessary. His ability to link the content to real life situations and explain with examples helped me to remember important points. Without him, I wouldn’t have achieved a 7 in IB economics!
