About Máire
After getting a H1 in Leaving Cert Irish, I studied the C1 Dioplóma sa Ghaeilge in Ollscoil na Gaillimhe, recently graduating. I have extensive experience teaching, especially with teenagers. Most recently I worked 2 summers as a cúntóir le Coláiste Chamuis i gConamara. Currently I teach Irish classes for adults in Gaeltacht an Eachréidh. I firmly believe that Irish should be accessible to all. Is fiú agus is féidir!

Typical lessons are 45-60 mins and mainly focused on practical oral Irish (Gaeilge amháin chomh minic is go féidir!). Also have an emphasis on peer learning, fun, discussion, visual aids and the student taking the initiative. Students are encouraged to bring a friend, especially to in-person lessons as this enhances the learning experience. Beginners are very welcome! Can be focused on Junior or Leaving Cert exams if desired by the student.
