As a kathak dancer myself I feel dance is something which comes from within. It's your body moving to the rhythm of your soul providing peace to your mind and heart and for that the environment of the class would be positive and uplifting.
As a teacher I'm quite friendly and I believe anyone who wants to learn kathak should never lag behind. All the students are most welcomed to ask their doubts over and over if they are not able to catch it in the first attempt.
And just as they say practice makes you perfect, repetition in dance is very important,I make sure all my students are practicing their lessons until they master it and then only I move on to teaching the next lesson.
For those students who are shy to ask me doubts in front of the whole class can contact me personally without the fear of being judged.
People of all the age group are welcomed; from kids to senior citizens as I believe learning should never stop despite your age.
