About Sonam
About me - Bridging the Gap Between Curiosity and Understanding: I am currently an undergraduate student pursuing my degree, and if there is one thing I have learned during my academic journey, it is this: Science should never be boring. I chose to teach students from Grade 1 to Grade 8 because these are the years where curiosity is at its peak. This is the stage where we decide if Science is a "scary" subject or an "exciting" one. My goal is to ensure it is always the latter. Why I Teach: I am not a professor with decades of research—I am a student who is actively in the trenches of learning. This gives me a unique perspective. I understand the pressure of exams, the frustration of a formula that won't stick, and the joy of finally understanding how the world works. I teach because I want to be the mentor I wish I had when I was in middle school—someone who speaks your language and moves at your pace. I am honest, energetic, and deeply committed to seeing my students succeed. I may not have a PhD yet, but I have the passion and the fresh perspective needed to make Science your favorite subject.

My Approach
I don't believe in rote memorization. Instead, I focus on:
Relatability: Explaining complex biological or physical processes using everyday examples.
Patience: There are no "silly" questions in my lessons. If you don't understand it the first time, we will find a second, third, or fourth way to look at it.
Encouragement: I want to build your confidence so that when you walk into your classroom, you feel prepared to participate and lead.
