About Trisha
Hi, I’m Trisha. I’m an English teacher for school students from Class 1 to Class 8, and I teach in Kolkata and online.
I became a teacher because I was that child who understood English but froze when asked to speak. I remember how scary it felt to read aloud in class or make mistakes in front of everyone. That experience changed how I teach now.
I believe English should not feel like a subject children have to pass. It should feel like a skill they love using. My job is to make sure your child stops translating in their head and starts thinking and speaking in English naturally. I am patient, friendly, and I never scold for wrong answers. In my class, we learn by playing, talking, and laughing.
I have worked with students from CBSE, ICSE, and West Bengal Board. Many parents come to me saying, “My child knows the answer but won’t say it.” After a few weeks with me, those same children start telling stories, asking questions, and even teaching their parents new words at home. That is the moment I teach for.
I am a certified teacher with a focus on early and middle school English. More than certificates, what matters to me is that every child feels safe and confident in my class. I take time to understand if a student is shy, playful, or curious, and I adjust my style for them. No two kids learn the same way, and my teaching respects that.

I teach Class 1 to Class 8 students using games, stories, and real speaking. We don’t start with grammar books. We start with laughter. Every class begins with a 5-minute warm-up game so your child relaxes. Then we move to speaking practice where your child does 80% of the talking. We use picture stories, toy interviews, and ‘describe your favourite food’ challenges so English feels natural, not forced.
Grammar and writing are taught through comics, memes, and real-life situations instead of boring drills. When a child makes a mistake, we clap. That’s my ‘Mistake-Friendly Zone’ rule. It removes the fear of speaking and helps shy kids open up fast. I give corrections while they talk, in a kind way, so they improve immediately without feeling bad.
A normal 60-minute class flows like this: we warm up with a game, then focus on speaking, then build grammar or writing skills through fun activities, and end with a small confidence task like a 2-minute story or a voice note challenge. Your child leaves class feeling proud, not tired.
There is no homework stress in my class. All the main practice happens with me. The only home task I give is a 1 or 2-minute voice note about something they love, like their pet or favourite cartoon. That’s how English becomes part of their daily life, not extra school pressure.
