About Rajat
Hi, I'm Rajat, a Senior Member of Technical Staff at Salesforce with over 6 years of experience across Amazon, Navi, and Salesforce, working on distributed systems, backend
platforms, and more recently GenAI/agentic AI systems. My relationship with DSA goes back to college — I qualified for ACM ICPC 2018 regionals. That foundation in problem-
solving is what got me into Amazon, Navi, and Salesforce, and it's what I want to pass on. I teach DSA the way I wish it was taught to me — focused on building real intuition for
patterns and problem-solving, not just memorizing solutions — so students walk away genuinely confident, whether they're just starting out or prepping for interviews and
placements.

My approach to teaching DSA is problem-first, not theory-first. Instead of just
walking through definitions, I break each concept down with real problems, explain
the intuition behind the pattern, and build up to harder variations step by step.
Classes are one-on-one, so pace and difficulty are adjusted to exactly where the
student is — whether they're learning arrays and recursion for the first time or
prepping for coding interviews with trees, graphs, and dynamic programming. Every
session ends with practice problems and a quick recap so concepts actually stick,
not just get covered. I work with both school students building early programming
foundations and college students preparing for placements or competitive coding,
and I keep sessions interactive with lots of whiteboarding and live problem-solving
rather than passive lectures.
