I have been a salesperson for 8 years, with ample experience in conversing in English, especially when I worked in the banking industry. I talk to people and make sales pitches every day. Before I sell, I will get to know my customers first, hence where the conversational skills come in handy. Even if you don't work in sales, the ability to converse in English is a great tool to have in your utility belt.
