About BENHUR
Hi there! I am Benhur, a Computer Science Engineering graduate and an active cybersecurity researcher. My journey in tech has always been driven by a massive curiosity about how computer networks operate and how systems can be protected against modern threats. Over the last few years, I have gained hands-on experience by building practical security projects, ranging from file encryption tools to system integrity monitors.
Beyond just writing code and researching vulnerabilities, my absolute favorite thing to do is teach. Throughout my degree, I led multiple technical seminars and realized how much I love making complex topics easy to understand. I know exactly how confusing cybersecurity and programming can seem when you are first starting out. I want to share my knowledge because I firmly believe that with the right guide, anyone can master these skills. I am here to build your confidence, share my practical industry knowledge, and help you achieve your technical goals!

I believe that learning cybersecurity and programming should not just be about reading boring theory. It should be about getting involved and actually building things. My classes are designed for college students, early career professionals, and tech enthusiasts who want to go beyond textbook definitions and learn how actual systems are secured and broken.
My teaching approach is very straightforward. I specialize in taking complex topics like penetration testing, ethical hacking, and computer networks and breaking them down into simple and easy-to-grasp concepts. I focus heavily on practical skills and industry knowledge rather than just academic memorization.
In a typical class, we start by clearly explaining a specific concept, like how a network protocol works or how a specific attack is executed. Next, we look at how this applies in the actual cybersecurity landscape. Then, we immediately put it into practice. Depending on the topic, this could involve analyzing traffic in Wireshark, writing Python automation scripts, or tackling challenges on platforms like TryHackMe. We always wrap up by reviewing the lab and clearing up any doubts.
What makes me different is that I am an active cybersecurity researcher who has built tools like File Integrity Monitors and File Encryption Systems. I teach from experience. I know what it takes to learn these concepts from scratch, and I am deeply passionate about mentoring you step by step until you truly master them.
