About Sierrena
I'm a reading and English teacher who has worked with students just like you for many years — from kindergartners learning their very first letters all the way to high schoolers preparing for exams. I went to school to study exactly how people learn to read, and I've spent my career figuring out the best ways to make it actually make sense — even when it feels hard or frustrating.

Students with dyslexia, English language learners, kids with IEPs, advanced readers — I've taught them all. I know how to adapt and I know what works for each learning style. I'm a teacher, not just a tutor. With a master's degree in Curriculum & Instruction and years in K–12 classrooms, I understand how students develop as readers!
