About Anastasia
Hello! My name is Annie :) I'm a bubbly, kind and patient tutor who wants to help children enjoy learning and feel confident in themselves. I believe that every child learns differently, so I take the time to get to know my students and tailor my approach to suit their individual learning style. My goal is to make each session feel supportive, engaging and productive — we’ll work hard, but we’ll also have fun along the way! As a current PGCE Primary student at UCL, I draw on my academic training and practical classroom experience to deliver engaging, personalised lessons for pupils aged 5–11 (KS1 and KS2). I support children with SATs preparation, homework, and general schoolwork by using a patient, encouraging approach that builds confidence and strengthens core skills in literacy and numeracy. My lessons are typically 45–60 minutes long and tailored to the child’s learning needs and pace. I use questioning, visual aids, and interactive activities to keep sessions focused and enjoyable. My tutoring is ideal for primary pupils who would benefit from structured, 1:1 support in a calm and friendly environment. Having worked in both classroom and online settings, I understand how to adapt content to suit different learning styles. I ensure each session has clear objectives and provide regular feedback to both pupils and parents. My goal is to create a positive learning atmosphere where children feel safe to make mistakes, ask questions, and make steady progress in their understanding.
