I am a medical student and I have always had a passion for teaching. It is one of the best ways to not only share knowledge and experience but also to consolidate my own learning. Lessons will be based on what students need, exam review/practice, going through questions and learning tips from the CAS calculator.
Typically my lessons consist of identifying areas of improvement from the student by working through questions together. I use an ipad to share screen and show my working which I compare with student's working. Besides this, I also refer to basic principles to introduce students to a topic and can provide brief quizzes to check before and after knowledge. My lessons typically run for 70min and are aimed at year 11 & 12 students undertaking mathematical methods for VCE. I have been teaching for a total of 3 years and have accumulated resources and skillsduring this period.
