About Paige
Music has always been a powerful form of expression for me, and as a Violin tutor with 8 years of experience, I have had the privilege of teaching around 150 students at various stages of their musical journey. Teaching violin is not just my profession—it is my passion.
I teach students from beginner to advanced levels, focusing on building a strong technical foundation while nurturing creativity. My lessons include posture correction, bow techniques, scales, finger exercises, and performance pieces. I ensure that every student understands the “why” behind each technique, making learning meaningful and effective.
My teaching style is patient, encouraging, and highly interactive. I create a comfortable environment where students feel free to ask questions and express themselves musically. I also guide students on effective practice methods to maximise improvement between lessons.
A unique strength I bring is my ability to motivate students consistently and help them overcome stage fear. I prepare students for performances and help them build confidence in showcasing their talent.
My aim is to inspire every student to enjoy the learning process and develop a lifelong appreciation for violin and music.

I teach violin using a methodology built on motivation, communication, creativity, and integrity, designed to develop technically skilled, expressive, and confident musicians. Each lesson is personalised to the student’s goals, learning style, and level, combining structured technical exercises, creative exploration, improvisation, and performance preparation.
Motivation is central. I work closely with students to set short-term and long-term goals, track progress meticulously, and celebrate milestones. This helps students develop perseverance, self-confidence, and a genuine love for music, encouraging them to embrace challenges and view mistakes as valuable opportunities for growth.
Communication ensures lessons are collaborative, interactive, and supportive. Students are encouraged to ask questions, express challenges, and share ideas freely, creating a safe and engaging learning environment that nurtures curiosity and creativity.
Creativity is at the core of every lesson. Improvisation, composition, and interpretation exercises allow students to explore their artistic voice and strengthen emotional expression. Integrity emphasises disciplined, responsible practice, respect for learning, and consistent effort, building habits that ensure long-term musical development and success.
Alongside violin, I teach music theory, sight-reading, ear training, rhythm exercises, and introductory piano, providing a comprehensive foundation that equips students to excel in performance, academics, and musical artistry. This approach helps students grow into well-rounded, confident, and inspired musicians.
