About Nikki
Teaching computer skills is a very practical subject. You can't learn by watching someone else or just reading the books. You have to participate in the activities and learn from your mistakes. I give examples and show how the software works, complete quizzes and then complete a practical project with a business scenario. This help contextualise how the software works and how you could use it in life.

I have been a computer teacher for 10 years. Having taught Secondary school students in Microsoft Office and graphics, more recently moving into computing and teaching about how the computer works rather than how the software works. I have also taught the employable skills course ECDL, in which 90% of students came out with a distinction*

Having taught in a range of primary and secondary schools over my teaching career I have taught many different subjects. My main subjects are Business and ICT/computer science. I have also taught Maths, English, Citizenship, Media and communication studies.
