About Akio
I am a Computer Science undergraduate at the Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD) with a strong academic background in mathematics. I graduated as Valedictorian from Gandhi School Ancol with Cambridge International O and A Levels, achieving A* in Mathematics and scoring 99/100 in O Level Mathematics. I am also a mathematics olympiad medalist, with Gold awards in the American Mathematics Olympiad organized by SIMCC/SIU. I have experience tutoring primary and secondary students, including guiding a Grade 6 student in preparation for mathematics olympiad competitions. My teaching approach emphasizes clear explanations, strong fundamentals, and patient guidance, helping students build confidence and long-term understanding.
