I am a first-year Computer Science student at the University of Manchester, with a strong passion for learning and sharing knowledge. I have attended multiple hackathons, which have strengthened my problem-solving skills, creativity, and ability to apply computer science concepts in practical situations. Alongside my studies, I run a small brownie business, which has helped me develop strong organisation, communication, and time-management skills. Lessons are carefully planned to suit each student’s level and learning style, using clear explanations, guided practice, and problem-solving activities. Teaching techniques include showing students how to maximise the use of scientific/graphical calculators for maths A-Level and GCSE. Using coding challenges, I aim to assist in improving logical thinking and technical proficiency for budding programmers. Lessons typically range from a minimum of one hour to a maximum of two hours, depending on what is agreed with parents following discussion. I have experience supporting students at primary, secondary and college level, including GCSE and A-level. Progress is reviewed using homework sheets recommended by past teachers, and parental feedback is always welcome to help tailor future lessons.
