I am a first-year Computer Science student at the University of Manchester, with a strong passion for learning and sharing knowledge. I have attended multiple hackathons, which have strengthened my problem-solving skills, creativity, and ability to apply computer science concepts in practical situations. Lessons are carefully planned to suit each student’s level and learning style, using clear explanations, guided practice, and problem-solving activities. Teaching techniques include showing students how to maximise the use of scientific/graphical calculators for maths A-Level and GCSE. Using coding challenges, I aim to assist in improving logical thinking and technical proficiency for budding programmers. Lessons typically range from a minimum of one hour to a maximum of two hours, depending on what is agreed with parents following discussion. I have experience supporting students at primary, secondary and college level, including GCSE and A-level. Progress is reviewed using homework sheets recommended by past teachers, and parental feedback is always welcome to help tailor future lessons.
