About Ashvin
I’m a medical student based in London with a passion for education and helping others achieve their goals. Having gone through the medical school application process myself, I understand how challenging and competitive it can be, and I really enjoy helping students navigate it with greater confidence.
After two years of tutoring, one of the things I enjoy most is seeing a student’s confidence grow as they begin to understand something they previously found difficult. Whether that’s improving a UCAT score, developing a stronger interview technique or simply feeling more confident about applying to medical school, I find it incredibly rewarding to play a part in that journey.
Outside of medicine, I have a wide range of interests, including flying, motorsport and music. These interests have helped me develop a well-rounded approach to teaching and connect with students beyond academics.
My aim is to make every lesson supportive, engaging and tailored to the individual, while giving students the knowledge, skills and confidence they need to succeed.

I’m a current medical student with 2 years tutoring experience offering friendly, personalised 1-to-1 support for students applying to medical school. Having been through the application process myself, I understand how competitive and overwhelming it can feel, and I aim to make the process much more manageable.
I offer support across the key stages of the medical school application:
UCAT Tutoring
Targeted preparation for the UCAT, including question strategies, time management, identifying weaknesses and working through challenging questions together.
Personal Statement & Application Support
Guidance on structuring your personal statement, presenting your experiences effectively, and communicating your motivation for medicine clearly and authentically.
Medical School Interview Preparation
1-to-1 mock interviews covering common medical interview questions, ethical scenarios, role-play, communication stations and motivation for medicine. I provide detailed feedback and practical advice to help you become more confident and effective in your answers.
My approach is tailored to each student. Whether you’re just starting to think about applying or you’re preparing for an upcoming interview, I’ll work with you to identify what you need to improve and build a clear plan to get there.
