About Excelsior Online
I have been an educator all my life, starting from teaching piano, to teaching English, Humanities, and Communications at the middle school, high school, and college levels, to being a higher education administrator as a dean and/or director of education and liberal arts. My PhD is in Curriculum and Instruction in Education, my M.A. in English Language Arts and Health Administration, my B.A. in English Language and Literature with minors in Communication, Psychology and Art History. I love to empower children, teens and adults alike to reach their potential, discover their passions, explore new directions, and manage current work, business, or academic challenges. As a Dean and Director for undergraduate and graduate level programs at colleges, I have a deep understanding of the standards, expectations, and rigor needed to not only be admitted at universities but also be successful in college. Analyze admissions essay prompts from various colleges (your choice of 2 colleges) to understand expectations and start brainstorming effective, precise ideas.
