* I teach logic building first and then jump to coding.
Eg. while teaching Dynamic Programming, usually people tend to code a nxn matrix and perform weird operation.
What I do is 1st I teach them how to perform recursion on that problem then modify that recursion to memoization and then by a simple tweak in code perform DP.
* I usually give sample code problems to gauge their preparation and then design a structure.
* I follow teaching code with relating different codes to one-another.
Eg. If you code a 0/1 Knapsack Problem you can easily crack
Subset Problem, Equal sum problem, Count of Subset problem, Partition sum problem, Target sum problem, Minimum Subset difference.
I tell you its seriously the same code with just a little tweak.
