About Thalia
My interest in programming began when I discovered how coding could transform simple ideas into real working systems. This curiosity inspired me to complete a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Applications followed by a Master’s Degree in Software Engineering. During the past 9 years, I have taught students from different backgrounds while helping them build strong coding foundations through practical and structured learning approaches.
I believe programming should feel accessible and creative for every learner regardless of experience level. My teaching style focuses on step-by-step explanation, interactive coding exercises, and problem-solving methods that encourage independent thinking. I encourage students to understand programming concepts deeply instead of memorising code patterns. Building confidence gradually is an important part of my approach because strong understanding develops through patience and regular practice.
Outside teaching, I continue exploring new technologies, software tools, and programming frameworks through personal projects and ongoing learning. Staying engaged with technology helps me keep lessons updated and practical for modern learners. Teaching programming is meaningful to me because I enjoy helping students grow from confusion into confidence. My goal is always to support learners in becoming skilled, creative, and independent thinkers in the field of technology.

My programming lessons focus on helping students understand coding through logical thinking, structured practice, and hands-on learning. I teach Python, Java, algorithms, debugging, object-oriented programming, and software design using clear explanations and practical examples. I include coding exercises and guided projects regularly because practical experience strengthens understanding and confidence. Students are encouraged to solve problems independently while receiving support whenever needed.
I aim to create a supportive environment where students feel motivated to explore technology confidently. Many learners begin programming with uncertainty, so I focus on simplifying difficult concepts into manageable ideas that build confidence gradually. Over time, students improve not only coding ability but also analytical thinking and creativity. Programming becomes much more rewarding when learners realise they can create meaningful solutions through patience, logic, and consistent practice.
