About Manuel
As a native Andalusian musician, I've lived flamenco guitar firsthand, understanding its core rhythm. Beyond flamenco, I'm also proficient in diverse root genres, including Brazilian music (samba, bossa nova) and various Latin American styles, which I also sing. This versatility allows me to explain music with a truly global perspective.
I'm a multi-instrumentalist (guitar, vocals, flute) and composer with over 10 years of teaching experience. I've taught more than 80 students. I've participated in various groups, from classical choirs to flamenco and soul bands. My most recent work highlights the fusion of flamenco with Brazilian music.

Do you want to START or IMPROVE? Do you feel STUCK in your learning? Would you like to KNOW theoretically what you PLAY? Would you like to ACCOMPANY your VOICE with the guitar or COMPOSE your own songs? Would you like to play styles like Flamenco, jazz, soul, pop, traditional Iberian or Latin American music, or classical? If you feel alluded to by any of these questions, I can help you. In my classes, I offer an organized and structured method, adapted to your level and musical tastes, where learning will be fun and MOTIVATING. We will work on important harmonic and rhythmic aspects with specific exercises that will help you execute your favorite repertoire. In addition, we will use your VOICE as another tool to improve your ear and your skill with the instrument, since the most effective way to internalize music is through your voice. On the other hand, these classes will help you gain a broader understanding of music by offering you tools that will help you continue to grow independently, for example, techniques for reading sheet music or learning your favorite pieces or songs by ear. Finally, we'd like to point out that the classes can be adapted to all ages, from the youngest (ages 6 and up) to the oldest. With enthusiasm and a good teacher who adapts to you and your situation, you'll notice a difference soon after starting!
My lessons are 100% online, making them accessible from anywhere with an internet connection, no matter where you are in the world. I teach in English, Spanish, and Portuguese, and I have extensive experience working with international students. My teaching schedule is also adaptable, so we can find a time that works best across different time zones.

Perfect! Muy agradable y con mucha implicación.
Perfect! Manuel es un gran profe!!!! Es muy paciente y se adaptó muy bien a lo que yo le proponia. Se nota que la música es su pasion y lo transmite. Altamente recomendable. Yo he echo flauta travesera con él y estoy muy contento.
Perfect! !Manuel es un profesor maravilloso, el mejor que he tenido sin duda! Pone muchísimo esmero en el contenido de las clases y los ejercicios para practicar. Se nota su vocación enseñando y el interés genuido en que aprenda, además de ser muy paciente y amable.

Perfect! Muy atento, positivo, constructivo, muy apasionado por la musica y el exito del esttudiante. Tambien, me gusto que tenia una guitara adiciona que me presto debido a que la que traje a clase no era muy buena. Lo recomiendo, no solo para personas locales, pero para aquellas personas visitando a Granada que tengan tiemmo y quieran a alguien para asesorar la tecnica de la mano izquierda y/o la derecha.

Manu pone tanta pasión como cariño en la guitarra, y eso se nota en sus clases. Sabe adaptarse a ti y motivarte.
Es muy paciente y didáctico, a mí me enseñó desde cómo agarrar la guitarra hasta Teoría de la Armonía.
Lo que más me gustó es que desde el principio tocamos canciones, no sólo ejercicios machacones. Y eso motiva mucho.Las clases con Manu fueron amenas y muy productivas. Siempre me había costado acercarme a la guitarra y la forma en la que Manu te acompaña en el proceso es increíble. Además de ser un gran amante de la música y transmitirlo a sus alumnos/as. Lo recomiendo muchísimo.
Manu tiene un acercamiento a la música muy única y que abarca muchos estilos, desde el flamenco al bossa nova y más allá. Pero mas importante todavía es su forma de pensar el estudio desde la escucha y la exploración del instrumento en base a tus objetivos personales como músico/a. Super recomendable!
Me encanta! Manuel es un profesor de guitarra que te enseña de manera muy fácil con la que puedes disfrutar y aprender diferentes estilos de música.
