About Dayang
I am currently pursuing a bachelor's degree and hold a diploma in civil engineering. Although I am new to formal mathematics tutoring, my deep interest in the subject and my desire to help others understand it have inspired me to become a tutor. I believe that passion for a subject is the first important step in becoming an effective educator. My engineering background has strengthened my analytical and problem-solving skills, which I aim to apply in helping students grasp mathematical concepts effectively.

Learning Together with Students
While I may be new to teaching, I see this experience as an opportunity to learn alongside my students. I'm eager to explain concepts in simple terms and help students grasp mathematics by relating it to real-life situations.
Patience and Simplicity
As someone just starting out, I focus on being patient and progressing at a steady pace. I believe that no question is "too simple" or "unimportant." Every question deserves to be answered with care and understanding.
Research and Preparation
I make sure to do extra research on the topics I’m teaching and always seek to understand multiple ways of explaining a concept. This helps me adapt my teaching methods to suit the needs of different students, ensuring they grasp the material being taught.
Building Student Confidence
My focus is on helping students build their confidence in solving mathematical problems. I encourage them to try, even if they make mistakes, because I believe learning is a process of trial and improvement.
Open Communication
I enjoy listening to students' thoughts and challenges. With open communication, I can better understand where they need extra support, and I’m always willing to adjust my teaching approach based on their individual needs.
Although I’m still at the beginning of my journey, I believe that with dedication and enthusiasm, I can help students enjoy and better understand mathematics. I am also committed to continuously learning and improving as a tutor to become more effective over time.
