About Nafisa
I am a Civil and Environmental Engineer with a strong academic record, achieving over 97% in mathematics-intensive coursework during my undergraduate studies as well as high school. Alongside my degree, I have taught in school classrooms and served as a university Teaching Assistant, working closely with students at different ability levels.
Over the years, I have learned that students do not struggle because they lack intelligence, they struggle because concepts are often explained in only one way. My strength as a tutor lies in breaking complex mathematical and physical concepts into clear, structured steps that make sense.
For students who feel “weak” in Maths or Physics, I focus on rebuilding foundations, strengthening confidence, and removing fear from the subject. For high-achieving students, I provide deeper problem-solving strategies, exam techniques, and advanced insights that push them beyond average performance.
Having once navigated my own academic journey with limited guidance, I understand how powerful the right support can be. My goal is not just to help students score higher, it is to help them think clearly, solve independently, and develop confidence that lasts far beyond the exam.

Each of my lessons are fully personalized and delivered one-on-one, structured around the student’s level, pace, and academic goals. Rather than using generic worksheets, I design every session to target specific weaknesses and strengthen conceptual clarity.
The sessions typically last 60–90 minutes and balance explanation, guided practice, and exam-focused problem-solving. Students are encouraged to think independently rather than memorize formulas. I focus on building logical reasoning so that they can confidently approach unfamiliar questions.
Over the past 7+ years of teaching, I have worked with students across different ability levels — from those struggling with foundational concepts to high-performing students aiming for top grades. Several of my students have gone on to achieve A and A* grades in Mathematics and Physics, while others have shown significant grade improvement after strengthening their fundamentals and exam techniques.
With experience both in school classrooms and as a university Teaching Assistant, I understand curriculum expectations as well as exam patterns. For weaker students, I rebuild core understanding step-by-step and restore confidence. For high achievers, I refine advanced problem-solving strategies and optimize exam performance.
