Hi! I'm Shalu, and I hold a Bachelor's and a Master's degree in Chemistry from St. Joseph's College, Devagiri. During my academic journey, I also had the opportunity to work as a Research Intern at Nottingham Trent University, UK, where I developed a deeper appreciation for scientific thinking and problem-solving.
I've always enjoyed explaining concepts to others, and that's what inspired me to start teaching. I understand that Chemistry can feel confusing when it's taught as a subject to memorize. My aim is to make it logical, relatable, and interesting by breaking down complex ideas into simple explanations that students can easily understand.
I believe every student learns differently, so I take the time to understand their pace and adapt my teaching accordingly. I encourage questions, create a comfortable learning environment, and focus on building strong fundamentals rather than rote learning. I keep my classes interactive and encourage students to ask as many questions as they want. A typical lesson starts with a quick recap of the previous topic, followed by clear explanations using simple examples and everyday analogies. We then solve practice questions together and spend time clearing any doubts before moving on.
