My approach as a teacher is to work with the level of the student whilst encouraging them to achieve to the best of their ability.
I aim to teach authentic yoga with a focus on breath regulation - using a traditional Indian approach, there will be mantras and meditation, along with pranayama breathing techniques to help calm the mind.

Dependent on what style the timings will differ, but generally a class will be run as follows: Opening mantras/chanting and setting intention, followed by standing, balancing and sitting asanas. The class will be closed with a silent or guided meditation.
I like to adapt the class to the level of the student working 1:1, making sure they are able to get into the asanas safely. Every class will be planned effectively, with a heart centred approach to connect mind, body and spirit. I want the student to leave feeling uplifted, calm and rejuvenated.
The classes are intended for beginners to advanced level. There is no age limit to who I will teach, all that is needed is respect for me as a teacher and a willingness to learn.
