About Margot
Margot graduated with Honors from UNC Chapel Hill with a double major in Psychology and Spanish and earned a dual Masters degree in General and Special Education from Bank Street College. Margot taught with Teach For America (TFA) in NYC public schools, served as a TFA manager and coach for new teachers for 10 years, and now works for TNTP.
She currently lives in Seattle with her partner and dog. She loves Cross Training, yoga, and cooking.

As a classroom teacher and tutor, Margot has taught subjects including reading, writing, mathematics, science, and social studies in both special and general education programs in elementary, middle, and high school for over 15 years. In addition to subject-based tutoring, she provides test-prep and high school admissions testing prep as well. She is also certified in the Wilson Reading System.
