About Olivia
I’m an experienced elementary teacher with 5 years of classroom experience in both public and Catholic school settings, and I have also provided tutoring support in the past. I grew up in the St. Cloud area and love being part of this community. I’m passionate about helping students build confidence and strong foundational skills, especially in reading, writing, and math. With training in evidence-based literacy instruction (LETRS), I use clear, supportive strategies to help students truly understand what they’re learning.
Outside of teaching, I recently got married and am enjoying this exciting new chapter! I strive to create a positive, encouraging environment where students feel comfortable, capable, and motivated to grow.

My Teaching Method & Techniques
I use a structured, student-centered approach that focuses on building confidence and strong foundational skills. With training in evidence-based literacy instruction (including LETRS), I break concepts into clear, manageable steps and provide guided practice with ongoing feedback. I strive to create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and taking risks.
A Typical Lesson
Each session includes a quick review, direct instruction of a targeted skill, guided practice, and independent application. I end with a brief recap and goal-setting to track progress and keep students motivated.

I bring 5 years of classroom teaching experience across both public and private schools, along with strong skills in differentiation and relationship-building. I focus on helping students truly understand concepts—not just complete assignments—so they gain confidence and independence.
