About My IELTS Lessons

My IELTS preparation program is designed to turn the test from an overwhelming exam into a predictable, step-by-step system. Rather than relying on guesswork or rote memorization, we focus on understanding the examiner’s rubric, mastering task structures, and applying high-scoring techniques across all four test modules.

Whether you are taking IELTS Academic for university admission/professional registration or IELTS General Training for immigration, every session is structured to deliver clear, measurable progress toward your target band score (6.5, 7.0, 8.0+).

What We Cover in Each Module
️ Writing (Task 1 & Task 2)
Task 1 Masterclass: Learn clear formulas for describing graphs, charts, maps, and processes (Academic) or writing formal, semi-formal, and informal letters (General Training).

Task 2 Essay Mechanics: Master 4-paragraph essay structures for all question types (Agree/Disagree, Both Views, Advantages/Disadvantages, Cause/Solution).

Vocabulary & Grammar: Use precise lexical resource collocations and complex grammatical structures that examiners look for to award Band 7+ scores.

Detailed Feedback: Receive line-by-line corrections on your essays between sessions.

️ Speaking (Parts 1, 2, and 3)
Confidence & Fluency: Eliminate long hesitations, filler words, and self-correction habits.

Part 2 Cue Cards: Use a simple structuring method to speak fluently for the full 2 minutes without running out of ideas.

Part 3 Discussion: Practice abstract reasoning, expanding your arguments, and using advanced topic-linked vocabulary naturally.

Real Mock Practice: Simulated test conditions with immediate rubric-based scoring and pronunciation feedback.

Reading
Strategic Scanning & Skimming: Learn how to locate answers quickly without reading entire passages word-for-word.

Question-Type Strategies: Master specific traps in True/False/Not Given, Matching Headings, and Sentence Completion questions.

Time Management: Build test stamina to comfortably complete all 3 passages within 60 minutes.

Listening
Key Signals & Distractors: Identify how the audio tricks candidates and learn to spot correct answers in real-time.

Spelling & Formatting: Avoid losing marks on technical details, plural forms, and word-count restrictions.

️ My Teaching Methodology
Diagnostic Assessment: We begin by identifying your current band score baseline and pinpointing exact target areas.

Rubric-Driven Strategy: You will understand precisely what the official IELTS scoring criteria (Task Achievement, Coherence & Cohesion, Lexical Resource, Grammatical Range) require.

Practical Application: Every strategy is paired with real Cambridge IELTS practice materials and targeted homework.

Clear, Actionable Feedback: You will always leave every session knowing why an answer was incorrect and how to fix it next time.
