It was a great lesson! I spent a great time with Crystal, she was clear, enthusiastic and humorous. She also knows English very well so there won't be any trouble for beginners at all.
Had a great time with Crystal, she was very passionate with her lesson, taught me many things beside just Chinese. We talked about our hobbies and found out we were both passionate about water color painting! Definitely recommended!
You should definitely book a lesson with Crystal! She is a great teacher and makes learning really fun. What I personally appreciate most is her adaptability and flexibility. She pays attention to how the student is dealing with the lessons and adapts her approach and materials accordingly.
I would definitely recommend working with Crystal! I did 10 sessions with Crystal practicing for an interview in Mandarin. We did mock-interviews that helped me practice my comprehension of Mandarin, as well as my speaking skills on the spot. When we started our sessions, I felt that my Chinese skills were quite beginner. By the end of our sessions, after all of the practice we did, I felt much more confident in my Chinese abilities.
