About Ania
I have been practicing various forms of movement, including yoga, free movement dance and mobility practice over a period of around 8 years. As well as movement, I am interested in and practice meditation and explore various art forms, such as photography, painting and music production. My movement practice forms a part of an overall research into creativity and inquiry into being.

Budokon Mobility is a movement practice which explores movement flow. The primary positions are upright, sidebody, inverted, supine and prone. In a class, we explore various transitions between these primary positions, and build them up into a flowing chain of movement. The exploration in each movement flow focuses on smoothness, continuity, varying levels and pace, momentum, spirals and contraction and expansion. The aim of the practice is to enjoy and explore movement, learn new patterns of movement, and build awareness, as well as to increase mobility, strength and flexibility.
You will need some open floor space to be able to move around - a lot of the practice is based on transitioning through positions directly on the floor.
