My name is Ronald, and I bring over two decades of hands-on experience in information technology, networking, and technical support. For nearly 10 years, I successfully ran Badger Geeks LLC, providing IT services to a wide variety of clients. During that time, I managed everything from basic computer repairs to advanced networking solutions, helping businesses and individuals solve real-world technology problems. This experience gave me a unique ability to explain complex concepts in a simple, practical, and approachable way. Over the years, I have worked in many different environments, from large corporate projects and data migrations to small business troubleshooting and everyday personal tech support. This range of experience has taught me not only how to resolve technical challenges, but also how to communicate effectively with people who have different levels of technical knowledge. I believe that good teaching is about more than sharing facts—it is about building confidence, encouraging curiosity, and giving students the tools to solve problems independently. One of the highlights of my career was serving as the Lead Instructor and Course Coordinator at Century College in Minnesota, where I taught Microsoft certification courses and networking classes. In that role, I not only instructed students in technical content, but also designed lesson plans, built lab environments, and guided aspiring IT professionals toward certification. This academic teaching experience deepened my understanding of how to create structured lessons while still adapting to the needs of individual learners. My professional background includes support for Windows systems across multiple versions (Windows XP through Windows 11), WiFi and wired networking, data recovery, security best practices, and enterprise-level backup and disaster recovery planning. I also have experience training staff and students in Microsoft Office, database management, and system administration. In addition to my technical work, I have taught in formal classrooms, worked one-on-one with students, and even taught English as a Second Language in China.
