About Anita

I am a cellist currently studying at the Royal College of Music (RCM) in London, under the guidance of Tim Walden. With over six years of teaching experience, I have worked with students of different ages and abilities, helping them build confidence, improve their technique and develop a genuine love for music.

Alongside private teaching, I have experience coaching young orchestral musicians and preparing students for ABRSM examinations and auditions. I have also performed with professional orchestras and received awards in international music competitions.

Having studied in international schools from a young age, I am fluent in English and comfortable teaching students from diverse backgrounds.

I believe learning music should be both rewarding and enjoyable. My goal is to create a friendly, patient and supportive environment where every student feels encouraged to progress at their own pace.

About the class

I believe every student learns differently, so I always adapt my teaching to their individual needs, abilities and musical interests. My lessons focus on building a strong technical foundation while keeping learning enjoyable and encouraging students to express themselves through music.

Lessons typically last 30–60 minutes, depending on the student's age, level and goals. I combine technical exercises, repertoire, sight-reading and musical interpretation, while also helping students develop effective practice habits.

I am currently studying Cello Performance at the Royal College of Music (RCM) and have been teaching cello since 2020. I have experience teaching privately and coaching children's orchestral groups, including preparing students for ABRSM exams and orchestra auditions.

I welcome students of all levels, particularly beginners and intermediate players, and have experience working with children aged 6–15. My aim is to create a friendly, supportive environment where students feel confident, motivated and excited to learn.
