About Harrison
I'm an actor, director, writer, and filmmaker with award-winning scripts. For the past year I've taught online English conversation and debate to intermediate and advanced speakers, including a year hosting group and individual lessons for SPEAKS at UCLA. I've spent the past year teaching online English conversation and debate to intermediate and advanced speakers, in both group and one-on-one formats, including a year hosting lessons for SPEAKS at UCLA.
I'm also a filmmaker and writer with award-winning scripts, so I bring a real ear for how English actually gets spoken, not just how it's written in a textbook. If you're working on creative writing, story structure, or a script, I can give you notes on that too. I was also an award winning speech finalist in my middle-school classes, and excelled in English and Writing my senior year of high school on my Canadian provincial exams and final grades.
My lessons go beyond the basics: slang, idioms, casual speech, and real conversations about topics you actually care about. No topic is off-limits, and no textbook filler. If you want to build fluency through genuine conversation, this is for you.
