Varun sir is extremely talented and has in-depth knowledge in music. He gives generous feedback in every class to improve my flute playing skills. He strongly emphasizes on everyday practice to improve the skill. He is extremely patient and addresses all the lame questions thrown at him without haste. My guru, Varun Bhoopalam, indeed helped shine the light of musical knowledge in me through his valuable teaching skills. He is patient and friendly. He always encouraged me to practice everyday and learn something new in every session.

I learned all my sessions virtually (except for Tala). But it was as easy as learning through live sessions. During my first few sessions, it was very difficult for me to hold breath, even if it's just four notes. But my guru helped me practice the right way and eventually play 16 notes at once.

He guided me to get the right books, right flutes, in a right place. He is flexible with time, as I am learning the flute in my free time. It's just been nine months since I started learning and playing the flute. In this short span, and just four classes a month, I am very happy with the progress I made.

I would like to conclude by saying that I am very fortunate to find a right guru who added a lot of value to my musical journey.

It is true for all those who take classes with Varun Garu.

I started from zero, not even able to get a little sound try on my own with some online classes, thought of even dropping my wish with a mindset 'cant do it anymore '
The time got to know about varun sir and started my learning.
Its been more than a year now i couldnt believe myself am able to play swaras with a better sound.

Reason to explain all this.
1. Varun sir never discourage anyone.
2. He keeps motivating all the time.
3. Never gets annoyed when u fail to get the swaras or do mistakes.
4. He troubleshoots our mistake in a gentle way.
5. He makes u cruise through gently and ul see an improvent time to time.

This really helped me to get through the challenge.
Music ,yes obvious a long time journey
But if u get discouraged or demotivated at initial phase you will leave it in despair.

Varun is a very affable, approachable, patient, cheerful and knowledgeable teacher. He takes things step by step, explains clearly and sets goals that are achievable. I totally enjoyed my sessions under him. He is also very prompt, punctual and student friendly.
